What does authentic leadership mean?
Authentic Leadership means for original, genuine, good and also verifiable. It also can mean honest. In my opinion, Beanjara Eudoxie is a very good example of someone who is a very authentic woman leader I have ever met in my life.
The proof is in her work as a leadership and her core values. For instance, she is self-aware and takes the time to re-examine her herself and her values. According to Henna Inama, " Authentic leadership is leading from your core values, choosing who you're the most inspired by to serve the greatest good in this moment."
In addition, Beanjara Eudoxie is also available to listen to feedback from others. She has integrity and ethics. She makes decisions based on what is right as an organization and also good for the individuals. She does what she says. Moreover, I do feel grateful to have her as mentor in my project.
Finally, leadership is the mother of socio-economic development. However, it's rare to see an authentic leader in the public sector typically in Madagascar politics .Somehow, when some people become recognized as political leaders. They think that their opinions are always right and they make their final decision mainly based on their own opinions and interests. So we should encourage the young people who work on civil societies as well to give their input and opinions too.
